A Southern classic, and easy to make with a store-bought pie shell. The perfect for dessert for a Sunday lunch or a potluck, but easy enough to cook on a week night.

1 uncooked pie shell

1 cup sugar

3 tablespoons of self-rising flour

1/3 cup of melted butter

1 cup of buttermilk

3 eggs

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients except the pie shell. Pour mixture into pie shell and bake for about 45 minutes or so until set.
