A simple soup that can be used as a base to create variations by changing the type of meat and/or vegetables used. This soup can be made vegetarian by substituting the beef for beans or any meat alternative.
1 lb. of ground beef (browned and drained)
1 can of beef broth
1 can of tomato soup
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons of minced onion
1 tablespoon of dried parsley
1/2 cup of instant rice
1 box of frozen mixed vegetables (thawed)
Mix all ingredients in a crock pot or Dutch oven and cook until thoroughly heated.
