Sausage Balls

These sausage balls are like a biscuit with the sausage and cheese baked in. Perfect for breakfast for a crowd, or even as appetizers for a gathering. The balls can be rolled the night before and left in the fridge to be baked the next morning.

3 cups Bisquick baking mix

1 lb of grated cheddar cheese

1 lb of hot breakfast sausage (bring to room temperature)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix baking mix, sausage and cheese until it can be shaped into golf ball-sized balls. If the mixture is too dry, add milk until the balls form nicely.

Place on cooking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the balls are golden brown on the outside and the sausage is thoroughly cooked.
