A creamy side dish with a little kick of heat from the jalapeño. Discard jalapeño seeds for less heat, keep them for more. But definitely use gloves to cut jalapeños!

8 oz. cream cheese

1 stick of butter

1/3 cup of milk

dash of garlic powder

2 cans of white shoepeg corn

1 chopped jalapeno

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt cream cheese, butter, milk and garlic powder in a saucepan and stir until creamy and blended. Add corn and jalapeño, then pour into a baking dish.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
